The third edition of the book by Steve Anchell The Darkroom Cookbook is now on sale. In a time when only digital technology seems to be important, it is very good news that this title, which is a milestone for the darkroom’s lovers, is now printed in its third edition. We should be grateful to the author Steve Anchell for his dedication to photography and for conceiving this huge compendium full of chemical formulas and information of various kinds including some new contributions by some of the greatest contemporary photographers like Henry Gilpin, Richard Garrod, John Sexton or Bruce Barnbaum. In the book there are more than 200 formulas, many tips on development techniques, on equipment for the darkroom, advice on how to organize the space for a darkroom and suggestions on how to proceed for a safe use of chemicals in the darkroom.
